Chelsea vs. Newcastle: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview

After securing their biggest English Premier League win of the season, Chelsea will look to keep the momentum going against a Newcastle squad coming off one of its worst defeats.
The Blues defeated Manchester City 1-0 on Monday, becoming the first English team to win a road match at the Etihad Stadium this year. This victory tied them with City for second place in the league table, just two points behind Arsenal in first.
With the Gunners having a tough road match against Liverpool, Chelsea now have a chance to reach the summit of the table with a victory.
Meanwhile, a rough stretch has Newcastle United in eighth place in the standings. They only have earned one win and one draw in their last six EPL matches, and a 3-0 loss to Sunderland on Feb. 1 was likely the low point.
Turning things around at Stamford Bridge will be a tall task, but Newcastle will do whatever it takes to get back in the win column against Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho Claims Chelsea Are 'Little Horse' in Premier League Title Race

Jose Mourinho has been underselling his side's title credentials all season long, and was at it again after defeating Manchester City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

The victory leaves Chelsea still behind City and league leaders Arsenal, but only two points separate the top three after 24 matches.

Asked about Chelsea's title hopes after the victory, the Portuguese said in his press conference:

The next pre-season, me and my players will say openly that we are mature, solid from day one and are candidates for the league. This season is about evolution...

Jose Mourinho: Billy the Chelsea Masseur Gave Team Talk vs. Manchester City

Jose Mourinho led Chelsea to a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Monday night, and then told journalists that he hadn't been the mastermind of the win after all.

Instead, the Blues manager said that it was all down to the team's masseur, a Scot by the name of Billy McCulloch.

McCulloch gave the team talk to the Chelsea players rather than Mourinho, he claimed.

As reported from the post-match press conference (via Sky Sports):

I didn't speak to the team—I am serious! It was Billy the masseur who spoke to them.

He was screaming so much in his Scottish accent, going grrr, grrr, grrr, that I didn't understand, but the players were clapping so they must have got it!

The last time I spoke to them was at lunchtime. It was Billy's team talk, I'm telling you.

Billy was fantastic, I didn't understand, but it looks like the players did.

Chelsea were praised for their display, which stopped City's perfect run of 11 home wins in the Premier League this season.

Now, in the final third of the campaign, just two points separate the top three teams—Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

So what next? Arsene Wenger to hand over team talk responsibilities to the club physio? Cardiff chairman Vincent Tan to start picking the team? Actually, don't answer that.

Chelsea Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of February 3

Chelsea were the Premier League's biggest spenders in the January transfer window, with an outlay of £48 million, according to Sky Sports. Despite this, the sales of Juan Mata and Kevin De Bruyne have left them with a healthy £10 million profit to reinvest in the summer.

Key areas of the squad were addressed with the arrivals of Nemanja Matic and Kurt Zouma, but there is still one position that needs some attention.
